The Christian Science Monitor reports that seven months after milk vending machines first appeared in some New York State schools, milk sales are going through the roof. Milk machines were added as an alternative to soda machines in order to assist the sagging local dairy industry, and the results are much better than expected. The program is a success all around, since there is the added health benefit for the children. Do you have milk vending machines in your school?
