At times, we have children in our classes that LOVE the negative attention their improper behaviors bring on. I remember being in school where the teachers wrote the names of those “bad” children on the board, which probably just made that student happier because now his/her name was getting all that attention. Now that I’m a teacher, I like to use the method that “catches them while they are good.” Rhonda Bjelland has created a number of mini lessons for you to use on classroom management.
